Yeah, so here I am again. The fans in my computer are making a grinding nose, even at idle. It's really loud and it just started happening for no real reason at all. I know it's the fans, not the HD, because when the fans get louder the noise changes a lot, and vice versa. How would I take it apart to see what's up? Just undo the screws on the bottom or lots of crap. For the record my laptop is less than a month old, but RMA period is over. The laptop seems to be running fine temperature wise (played crysis for a while and temps were normal even though the noise was super annoying).

Look at the owner's lounge page and find the pdf for your model and it has some pictures that may help in your dis-assembly.

Its more than just a few screws on the bottom. If your not sure what your doing there are a few good videos on YouTube that show a complete disassembly.

Got the same issue a while ago, sent it for repair they changed the fan.
Already got a HDD problem sorted, now the fan, and they bent my keyboard by taking it apart so they are sending me a new keyboard too...

Oh and they forgot to send me back my battery.

That's a bit much for a 2 months old computer.

why do u need to dissassemble?
call warranty n tell them to fix it
better than if u broke something n cant claim warranty cuz u were trying to clean ur fan....
