I use my 2500 has my media center PC connected to my set via HDMI

    my specs are
    T7300, 2.0GHz core 2 duo
    2 GB DDR2
    128MB Nvidia 8400M GS + HDMI out
    Vista Ultimate 32bit

using the latest HP nvidia drivers and coreavc 1.7 pro + Media player classic for decoding

I've never had problems with playing 1080p H.264 files until now
for some reason after around 6-7 mins, my CPU usage goes from 60-70% to 100% and the stuttering starts and pretty becomes unwatchable afterwards
has anyone had this problem? maybe I should just revert to XP? vista is not good for HD?

    thanks
