I was wondering. Why my Recovery Partition space is filling up?
I thought this was left alone until or when you needed to restore your system?
When my computer was out of the Box it had 1.5 GB Free and now it's down to 900 MB. At this rate it will be full by next month?
I would not have noticed this if the drive space low warning didn't go off.
Does HP update the recovery partion by replacing driver versions and software with new versions? This is the only thing I can figure why it was filling up?

When I contacted HP. Silly HPIT wanted me to do a full factory restore.
Must of got an intern this morning. All he new was how to read from a script I guess.

    Thanks

I never really noticed -- my dv9000 is more than a year old and it still looks the same 1.16Gig free space in the recovery partition.

You could just do a search for recently modified files. and hidden files. Might also be recycle bin or virtual memory. Other possibilities, though I doubt it, are system recovery and file index.
