    I have adjusted the webcam settings in my Envy, and although I can see the difference, I have to say that I am pretty unimpressed overall. The difference is not exactly vast to me. It's enough for me record in standard definition to get the lower file size. Do you agree with my assessment?

    Go into MediaSmart Webcam, click on the tool icon to view the settings screen, and select the resolution.

    The highest resolution available is 640x480... How would I go higher than that?

    I guess the Envy 14 doesn't have the same capability then. Mine is the 17. It's an HD cam.
