    HD webcam? Are you sure HP?

    Been playing around with the Envy, and I love it. But thing is, I can't seem to get anything near HD footage with the built in webcam, even though my spec sheet says that its supposed to be a HP TrueVision HD Webcam.

    It's listed under HP Webcam under Device Manager...

    Can anyone throw some light on this?

    Laptop webcams even at their best are shoddy stuff compared to external ones from Logitech and Microsoft. No comparison really.

    it can record in 1280x720.


    it can't record in 1280x720 with HP's software
