It is not unusual for HDs for make clicking noises unless it is very loud.

Hey guys thanks for your help. I really figured it out by reinstalling a BIOS from HP website. After flashing a BIOS that annoying sound is gone. Now notebook runs quit.

    Thanks

How does the Bios effect the hard drive clicking?

I was thinking the same thing but when i talked to HP tech. support they told me to reflash the bios and that might fix the problem. But i honestly i don't know how does it help.

Interesting! Could you spare some more details about which version of BIOS that you're upgrading from and to? Thanks!

it's actually weird. the only case would be that the bios controls in some way HD access or rotation. I don't know

I think HP made up the BIOS excuse to get rid of you. Or someone at HP made it up and your HP tech believed him.

Clicking could be the drive seeking normally or it could be a sign of a bad drive. For now, consider it a reminder to keep your important data backed up.

Backup as often as you can, and if that sound gets worse call HP for a replacement.

After 21 days, your options for a return (or new replacement parts) greatly diminish. Stress out the drive using HD Tune and stretch the drive's legs. If that drive is faulty, you'll want the problem to show up sooner rather than later.

I am using f.11. well you guys are right first when HP tech told me I was very confused and I performed steps that they told me and now I used my laptop all day today and I haven't noticed anything thing so looks like the problem is solved after flashing the bios.
