    Hi,

I am going to be having my hp envy arriving hopefully soon, still in production. I already have a Samsung 256GB 840 Pro which I love, this will replace my 1TB HDD.

For pictures, music, videos and documents I wish to have on another drive. I know I will have a msata slot and was wondering if there is an HDD the physical size of an msata? I don't want to spend a lot on another sad, even if mini. HDD would be all I need for pics, music, documents and vids. If there are any on the market could you link me?

    Thanks.

There are no mSata form factor HDD's, unfortunately.
Personally, in my machine I chose to go the route of a 2TB samsung storage drive + one mSata SSD, keeping the second mSata slot for the 3g card feature supported by the laptop.
In my personal opinion, laptops will either start phasing out the sata storage entirely, or go the route of one sata slot for storage and one or two msata for ssd's.
