    HDMI Video Questions

    I have an 8710w, I want to display and external feed from anything through my hdmi port to display on my laptop. It would be video.

    you mean you have some video source that you want displayed on your laptop? the only way i can think of is through a tv tuner jack. i think most laptops are meant to send out their feed, not receive it... so ur hdmi port is good for displayin hd content on ur hd tv , but i don't think ur able to reverse it using somethin else, unless u had a tv tuner. i could be wrong though, wait till someone with better experience and knowlege answers... i don't wanna shatter your wishes. :D
