    So I just got my 9700T... Does anyone know exactly how to set up the audio for the HDMI? Let me know Thanks!

    Set playback devices to digital output.

    thanks... That was such great detail. Exactly where? I have gone into the sounds on the control panel. Anything else, pics, anything? Thanks

    right click the sound icon, lower right.

    right click on the sound icon in the task bar. Most of the time the icon looks like a speaker.
    Select Playback devices or sounds in that menu that pops up.
    Select the playback tab in the sounds winodow if not already their.
    Then select digital ouput device HDMI as default.

    Well there was a setting in hp quickplay that I had to change... And it did not like to play the movie if I was only using the tv I had to extend my monitor to watch the movie. I will play with it some more and post my results.
