Have any of you had any experience with plugging a 8400gs to a LCD ?
How it handles resolutions diffrent then the native 1280x800
How much up can it go?
What is the quality of the image?
    What about gaming/watching divx?
Can it handle full HDMI? How slow would it be?
suggestions and experience sharing are appreciated.

okay from my experience, when I hooked up my laptop to my Panasonic 60" HDTV, it set the resolution by itself, I found that to give me the best results.

When I tried to increase the resolution, the playback got a little slow and wasn't as smooth as before.

So in my opinion, just hook up the laptop and see if you like how it looks.

I am about to buy LCD and I am rather thinking about 720p resolution. Since I am planning to use it with my laptop somebody suggested me to get 1080p res. I have no idea if or how it can handle it...

The card will handle any common resolution out there.
