Does anyone know if the onboard Sata/eSata controller is "port multiplier"
capable? Meaning I can connect more than one drive (via a hub) to the
    eSata port?

I have an Expresscard eSata that can but wanted to know if the onboard
port is capable of this function.

Before you get excited about esata, my HDX wouldn't recognize an HDD in an esata enclosure, and would hang on bootup (forcing a cold restart). USB 2.0 worked fine with the same drive... haven't tried any other esata devices though. I have't tried it again now that the drive is formatted, but I do expect the same result. This doesn't seem to be an uncommon problem either by searching on google.

I have only experienced that with my WD 1TB drives.
    All others work fine...

I want to get an enclosure that houses 5 1.5TB drives
and connect them to the eSata port.

Anyone know if the HDX will support this?
