I've never really used either of these much and usually am connected to my router by ethernet but I had to take the unit to a relatives today, went to connect to their wi-fi and nothing. None of the buttons do anything. Oh well, will woryy about that later I thought. And launched HP's wireless assistant..... only for it to tell me that the only bloody way of switching wireless on is via the Quick touch button on the keyboard!! F**&**** Piece of s***!!!!!!
I've uninstalled Quickplay and Quicktouch, reinstalled from the swsetup dir, no joy. I have download the 318171 driver mentioned on p100 of the HDX Dragon owners lounge, no joy.
Now I am left with a 1200 laptop with no wireless function!! I really don't want to go back and restore to factory output.
Anyone got any ideas apart from never buy HP again?

I don't know why I bother posting here. It's pretty much guaranteed that the second I do I'll solve the problem. BIOS upgrade and eveything is working again. Huzzah.
Merry Xmas to all -
Glad you got everything worked out!
Merry Xmas/Happy New Year/Happy Holidays to you, too!
