The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I've tried to post this to HDX Lounge but saw no "new thread" anywhere on page, perhaps someone could tell me how to restrict my questions to that forum.
    Main problem, everytime I use the touch slider controls and the black box indicator comes on the screen it seems to freeze all my volume, bass, treble controls. Sometimes no box comes up and it works fine. Has anyone discovered the fix for this or any suggestions. Thank You, David
