When my Envy 14 got delayed, I was sent a $25 coupon that I'm now trying to spend. This mouse, the Wireless Comfort Mouse - HDX looks pretty tight but I wonder if the wireless is the type that works for gaming? I remember reading somewhere that if you wanted a wireless gaming mouse it was Logi G7 or bust, wondering if that's changed...

I used a Microsoft Mobile Wireless Mouse 4000, which is using the same receiver, for gaming on the go. I have to say, it's not as good as Razer Orochi, but its enough for casual gaming. Also depends what games you play, as First Person Shooters generally require quick and precise movements which a wireless mouse cannot always provide.

As for wireless gaming mice I recommend: Razer Mamba, Razer Orochi, Microsoft Sidewinder. If you want to buy a HP branded, but not wireless mouse I would look at the HP Voodoo Gaming Mouse.

Merr. Really, I'm just looking to spend this credit. Maybe I'll break down and bring my g5 with me to college since its what I'm used to anyway.
