Anybody else have problems connecting to eSATA on their HDX? I've tried 2 different drives, a Seagate freeagent pro and an enclosure with an eSATA port, along with 2 different cables as well as restarting my computer several times in case there's a problem with hot-swapping it.

    Probably a driver issue.

    More info needed.

What version of the driver is installed.

The device is called Silicon Image SIL-3531

You'll find it in device manger under storage controllers. The one that comes with the HDX if you bought it post Jan 2008 is version 1.5.18.10.

Microsoft update is known to "update that driver." so you mave have a different one.

If you find that it's different than the original driver, you can find the original driver in your swsetup folder.
