    hey ya

Im not sure if this has been covered before, but i have recently experimented installing various OS's onto my external USB 2.0 and also ESATA drive, with good success, but although the drive is recognised by the BIOS and allows booting from it when connected via USB2.0, the BIOS does not see it, nor allow the drive to be booted from when connected via ESATA.

Connectivity by Esata within Vista causes no issues, it is the ability to boot an OS from it that is the problem

This MUST just be a BIOS limitation, since so many other computers allow the BIOS to recognise Esata drives and allow booting.

Whats the score? I want SPEED for my external drive OS booting :) anyone else?

    cheers
