I posted previously about this, but gave the OP a lame, non-descriptive title, so maybe not many of you read it. Anyway, rather than repeating the problem:

    Read it here

Anyway, as I said in the other post, all 3 of my other HP laptops--2 w/4965AGN, one w/Broadcom--all reach 270 Mbps no problem. Besides the troubleshooting steps I took in the other post, today I just basically stuck the laptop right next to the router--still no change in the speed.

A dual-band "N" card operating on the 5GHz band should be reaching 270 Mbps, am I right? (I think it must be, since the other 3 lappies are doing it.)

I'm just trying to get a consensus here, w/you other HDX16 owners: is your Wifi also maxing at 135Mbps? If so, do we have a problem that we should bring to HP's attention, perhaps en masse? I.e., you cheap *****, why didn't you put in the 5300? I would have paid an extra $10 for the good wireless card, wouldn't you?

Anyway, am I the only one having the problem, or is this universal? If everyone is having this problem, what should we do about it?
