    HDX16 network problem

    hey guys,

    so literally this morning, i found that my ethernet connection dropped, with the yellow triangle signaling limited or no connectivity. at first i thought my mac address was being blocked, but after cross referencing, i discovered that it was not the case. next, i tested a different cable at another jack, to no avail. then i thought the win7 rc build was at fault, but i booted into my vista partition, and the same problem persisted. so the problem right now is that my comp can't get wired internet access, though wireless seems to be working fine. if anyone else has experienced this problem previously, any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. in a somewhat related note, if this happens to be hardware failure, is it covered in the basic 1-year warranty that comes with the laptop? thanks
