    Hello all,

I recently purchased an HDX16T with the 1080 screen. After about 2 days of use I turned my computer on and the screen is ridiculously bright. All the whites look washed out.

I have tried using the FN brightness adjust on the keyboard, reinstalling windows using both HP restore and a clean OS and have looked for BIOS settings (couldn't find any). It is so bad that I cannot even read text on the screen when windows is loaded. I don't get this issue when I use an external display so I assume it is hardware related. The last thing I did before this happened was install/run wow for about 15 minutes, then the next day this happened.

I am going to exchange it if I can't fix it but I just want to make sure I might not be missing something I could do.

    Thanks for any suggestions.
