    HDX16t MXM Slot?

    can any1 confirm if HDX16t is equipped with MXM Slot?

    Yes it is. The 9600M GT is an MXM graphics card.

    can u tell what type of MXM slot it is....?.....type I, II or III ?

    It's either type II or III. Not too sure about it though. There should be someone else who knows more about it.

    Nop the 9600M GT in all the new HP series is soldered on to the motherboard so it cant be MXM.

    HP never had an MXM type card in its entire product range. If you want MXM type cards go for Alienware, Sager or Acer. If you are owning an HP laptop, you can never upgrade your graphic card except when you get the chance to configure it before buying. For the current HDX series and the dv series, the 9600M GT is the highest you can go.
