Buying a new laptop soon... choices are a HDX16t (P8400 and Nvidia 9600M GT 512MB) or a DV6t (T6400 and ATi HD 4650 1GB). I'm just looking to play Everquest 2, and even though it's a 2004 release, it's pretty intensive. So I'm wondering if I should deal with the slower CPU and slightly better GPU or vice versa???

If EverQuest is the only game you are playing, I would get the better CPU.

I do agree with FoxTrot...EQ2 demands quite a bit of CPU...

Yea, I would really hate to skimp on the processor... however, I should mention that the HDX16t is refurbished with a 90 day warranty. The prices are pretty close, and I just can't get away from that Moonlight White color of the DV6t :)

I've built several desktops (w/ watercooling), and I'm thinking about going ahead and getting the DV6t and possibly upgrading the CPU down the road if need be... Is it possible to swap out the T6400 with a T9400 or T9500? Also, what's the URL for HPs videos on how to replace hardware (for those who don't know, it VERY in-depth and informative!!!!).
