    Hi
    Im hoping someone could help me find a solution for my problem.

    Ive upgraded to windows 8.1 everything works fine except HP Media Smart TV (i cant watch TV, I get BSOD after 20 - 30 minutes).

    First Id like to ask if anyone knows an alternative program that would work with HP DVB-T TV tuner because I think Media smart TV is causing my problem.

    I solved my problem, I've uninstalled any HP media smart software!

    Anyone who needs an alternative Live TV software for HDX18 I recommend NextPVR.

    Easy to configure, light on resources and it has support.
    Even the remote control works better with NPVR then Media smart TV. Now my HDX is fully functional on Windows 8.1 and ready for another 4 years of service.
