    Hi all,

I have a quick question please to the hdx9000 owners

    What about hdx9000 fans?
    Are they noisy?

Is it normal that this unit makes a lot of noise during the usage?

Note that there is no anormal overheat ?

    Thanks
    Craig.

i dunno, but even though the HDX is pretty slick, I think I would wait for the next version from HP. They are getting their feet wet with making upscale laptops based on the stuff they haved learned from VooDoo. But I'm not sure slapping a big display on a dv9000 series and raising the pricetag is a good offering. When they have the experience Dell has with the XPS line under their belt, I'll start looking.

BTW, the VooDoo notebooks are ridiculously expensive.

That's a pretty generic question. Yes, all fans make noise. But how much noise is it making?

Fans turn on all the time.

    Is it known?
