    HELP! dv6000p problem!!!!

    When I turn my computer on, it is fine. then I log in, and then everything goes wrong.
    I have NO DESKTOP! the background is black, and "my documents" comes up.
    I am able to ask you guys for help by going into desktop off of my documents and selecting internet explorer. also I have no start menu or task bar
    PLEASE HELP!

    It seems you have virus infection. Data from hard drive can recover easily with USB enclosure connected to another computer. Then you can recover the system to original state.
