    Hi everyone,

I have the opportunity to pick up one of these laptops but am having a very tough time deciding between the two of them. I want something great for everyday use and that is able to run games well also occasionally. Battery life is important and fan noise and heat is also important to me.

    Any suggestions???

I don't think there is much of a difference in the specs..

If battery life and heat are important, then don't buy any laptop using a first gen i7 processor. The first gen i7's were known for pumping out heat, and with lack of switchable graphics, battery time is generally less than 2 hours.
