    what is happening is ... once i hit fn F4 .... i get a distorted image its not even viewable ... its like static but you can make out some things ...

    is this the wire , the tv or the laptop settings ....



    WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THIS TO WORK.... can someone recommend some wires or anything to get this going

    i bought a RGB to VGA cable .. but it gave me a distorted image

    you can only bump once every 24 hours
    and i don't know the problem

    If you're using the VGA output are you setting the secondary monitor setting to a resolution the TV can display? Most SDTVs are limited to 800x600 resolution max. Technically SDTV is 720x480 but most TVs are capable of displaying 800x600, anything more than that would result in a totally distorted picture like you're getting, and if you're not careful you can damage a TV by "overscanning", but probably it wouldn't do that with an adaptor like that.

    If you're using HDMI, have you downloaded the Connecting an HDMI device in the Multimedia User Guide manual? Plus if you are using HDMI, unless you bought a top $helf cable, I'd say it's the cable.
