    i have a very old compaq notebbok.....

    is an ARMADA compaq model 4210 T


    my problem is: there is a manual to dissadembly ?

    i remove the floppy disk unit bad ....in how mode ?

    and , if not have a usb port , there is a adapter?

    rumors say that there is a adapter to port parallel to usb ?
    is true ?


    it sue the old Windows 98 SE... help me ? :confused:

    There is a USB -> Parallel adaptor, not the other way around. As for the manual, google it please.

    Try looking for a pcmcia->usb, or go on ebay and buy a replacement floppy unit. Probably just as cheap and it does the exact job.

    The 4210T is very easy to disassemble and reassemble. Just be very careful with the screws. Make sure you have the right size screwdriver, and that it is correctly seated.
