Hi there, I was just setting up a new Pavillion 6780se that I bought today, core2duo, t5450, and when I take a video or picture with the webcam, it freezes my system when I try to play it back from the Cyberlink portion of the program where the picture was taken. It is so bad, that I have to control/alt/delete to get it to unfreeze. The system requirement from the manufacturer of this software says Pentium 4/3ghz, however my processor is only 1.67 ghz... Could this be part of the problem? If it is, then I will be returning the system to BestBuy in the morning. I went to the CyberLink website and downloaded the 1 update, but still no difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Ah, I just returned the system for a full refund. The guy who works at BestBuy said they have TONNES of problems with the CyberLink software freezing their systems. He thinks it is the processor speed not matching the minimum requirements. Neither HP nor CyberLink was able to help me in the least with this problem. CyberLink was brutal, in that they repeatedly wanted me to get in touch with Dell, after I informed them several times that my unit was an HP, plus the grammar in thir emails was rediculous. (almost impossible to follow their train of thought), (what country are these guys in?). I took the advice of liquidcoolz (thanks), but the problem was still there. As annoying as it was, I still considered keeping the system and just living with it because the rest of the fit-and-finish of the unit was impeccable......... AND even though using the webcam is seldom a priority, for my 1400 bucks, EVERYTHING should work that I paid for.
