I bought this notebook about 1 month ago, and it has been working perfectly up until today, when I start it up and sign in, the Welcome screen sits there longer then it usually does, it goes to windows explorer and everything, but the mouse pointer continues to wheel around like it is loading and none of my icons appear, it continues sitting there, I don't know how long it has been sitting there like that, but it is still sitting there. I held down power button for 3 seconds until it turned off then I started it in safe mode and it was fine, but when I restarted the computer and ran it normally the computer had the same issue. I am not sure how to go about fixing this problem, I have windows 7 on the computer. Please help me with this issue.

This is a Windows 7 and not HP issue. Ask a mod to move your thread there or reinstall Windows (kill-all solution).
