Here goes another negative HP post.
I am sending my dv5000 into the repair center for round 2 (only 2 wks ago it went in for round 1). I asked for a new laptop (not a big shocker) they said it was against policy/warranty. Which is stupid, they should want to make their customers happy instead of pissing them off.
I also asked more about the wonderful "22 pt" test. I asked if they could actually turn on the laptop and make sure it works instead of shipping it out 5 secs after they get it.
I know there are a few posts on here about the repair center and how they don't fix things. I am just giving my outcome of the repair center to let people know my experience with them. If my laptop comes back not fixed once again, I am done with HP for good.
