I was originally working on a broken hinge but the job got much bigger.
Long story short, the hinge broke out through the top of the laptop and with it, the wireless antenna wire broke because it stretched. As I was trying to take the screen apart by separating the glass from the top, I broke the digitizer.
Is this fixable and is it worth it? Are the parts available? The laptop is about 3 years old.

    OK, learning more about this.
It's just the digitizer that I need and it's glued in place; no wonder I broke it and it sounds like a real PITA to get this apart.
I'm going to try to hunt for the entire assembly on eBay.
hindsight 2020, I should have accepted the fact that the antenna wire broke and bought a dongle for wifi.
