Given that HP is coming out with XP in mid May for the mini-note, does anyone know about the pricing for this option?

If they go with XP Pro as stated, it will cost the same as one with Vista Business.

Is that just a speculation? I am waiting to see if I want the $549 Linux version or the $599 Vista basic version which i was hoping will be the same price as the XP verson.

XP Home is not listed as an option yet, and every other business notebook that offers XP Pro has an analogous price to Vista Business. I would not count on getting XP Pro cheaper than Vista Home Basic, as Microsoft offers no allowances for older operating systems.......

*If* XP Home is made available, it should be priced similar to the Vista Home Basic model.

Here is the options/spec linky: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13009_na/13009_na.html
