    Hello all!

I have a problem with my HP 2710p Tablet PC. I bought it with Windows XP Tablet 2005 Edition and I have the impression, that the display is flickering which is very noticeable on lower brightness. In other forums I have read that people under Vista had to update their graphic card driver (its an Intel GMA X3100, die graphic card also goes under Intel Q965 Express, on HP Driver Download Side the card is called Intel 965GM ).

Now I have the problem that all new drivers directly from Intel are refuseing to install and the error message says I should get the drivers from the notebook manufacturer which in case of HP is over half a year old and exactly then one on my Laptop which has flickering.

Can anybody help me with this? I had the problem already with HP TC1100, where I found a hacked updated display driver for the Intel card but which did not support any tablet buttons and rotation features. Looks like we are stuck with old HP only "special drivers" here...

And I don't want to go Vista, I just dislike that OS...

    Regards

    Andreas
