    HP 3d drive guard.

    I loaded the driver for this after a fresh install but before I had an icon near my system tray that told me drive guard was activated. I dont see that now. Do I need software also to use this? Or is there another area I can find where its installed?

    what happens when you shake your laptop ? is the hdd light turning from green to orange ? if that is the case the driveguard is working. no need to install the driveguard manager.
