    Hello All
I have recently purchased an HP 530 notebook model number KP479AA (2.16 ghz core duo, 2gb ram, 120gb disk and conexant soundcard). [exact specs can be found at: http://www.laptopdirect.co.za/laptop_specifications.php?laptop=17049

    My problem:
    -----------
    1) When i play music via the notebook’s speaker (mounted above keyboard) at volumes above 55% a high pitched vibratory sound is heard coming from the areas around the speaker. The louder the song is, the worse the vibratory sound (at least i think that is what it is)

    My questions:
    -------------
    1) What is going on?
    2) Is this a problem that is known to HP 530 laptops / or other HP laptops or other brand laptops?
    3) What should i do about this? Should I send it back for a replacement (it is now 4 days old) or is this something i must get used to and accept?

I would really appreciate your views on this problem and on what i could do about it.
    Regards from South Africa
    David
