    hey all,

I am looking to get a new laptop. I have an HP dv1000 that I have had for 2 years now, and it works great for everything but the one PC game I play, World of Warcraft. It works well, but I want better. Right now the 6000t is looking great, and it comes with a Core 2 Duo and GeForce 7400. My question is, does anything think that there is anything better coming from Nvidia soon that might go into the 6000t? And should I wait for the next Intel chip, or is the Merom going to be fine for Vista? I would LOVE to get a new laptop right now, but if there is something coming within the next 2 or 3 months, I can wait. Just want to get your opinions.

if you can wait 3 months, def wait....

Im in college, and i need a laptop, so as soon as this came out, i jumped on it, especially with the 200 bucks off. i got a killer laptop for 1400 with tax.
best advice is to wait until vista comes out.... low voltage core 2 duos will be out. Its always best to wait, technology is changing everyday.

The 6000t only is available with up to a 2 gig processor, currently. That will change in the next couple of weeks, and the faster C2D processors will become available. Doubt the video will change. Anything "faster" will be too hot for a 15" chassis.
