Hi i just got the 6700t and i previously had a 6500t, everything is ok except the sound on the speaker is really muffled and fuzzy compared to my older 6500t, anyone else have this problem? Ive tryed tweaking the sound options but i cant seem to fix it.

Somethings wrong. Its hard to get these speakers to distort or anything. They are pretty nice. I don't think they changed much on the 6700t other then a little more memory on the dedicated GPU and a newer processor set. Its still the same. Try reinstalling the sound drivers. It sounds like maybe some defective altec lansing speakers. Try winamp or another player to confirm. It should sound just like your 6500t so you may have to call HP on this one.
