    $920 shipped, it's brand new.

Is this a good deal? Not familiar with HP at all. Are these good notebooks? any reviews anywhere? I can't find any. I just wanted another one for the hell of it, so I figured for only $920, I can't go wrong with it.

    Thanks love

I just bought one last week and I already have to send it to the service centre due to the loud fan issue that most 6710b owners are experiencing. But i must say HP's service is not bad at all.

Just make sure you get one that has the updated motherboard but as to how you can find that out, I really don't know.

the thinkpad is incredible! I love it!!! Good thing I went out on a limb and decided to trust lenovo. Their CS rep's are complete idiots however, but their product is still IBM. Well, at least with the X61s. I can't speak for the T61. I'm actually trying to purchase a T60, but I can't find any for a good deal. I'm probably going to cancel this 6710b because I thought it had a pointing stick and full mag alloy body.

    Thanks!
