    This is very important to me and I would like to know if this laptop has a glossy or matte type LCD screen. Thanks in advance.

    I believe its glossy....don't quote me on it though...

    You can get it in either: "15.4 inch diagonal WXGA anti-glare; 15.4 inch diagonal WXGA BrightView." The brightview is glossy, the anti-glare is matte.
