This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HP 6820S USB connector replacement

    Hello everybody, my first post here.

    Laptop is out of warranty so I need to fix problem by myself. Some electronics guy told me if I bring him working connector he can solder it without problem.

    However... I cannot find this type anywhere.

    On ebay and similar sites I have only found those with black plastic part in the upper section in connector.
