    I just got the above laptop and I'm wondering whats the best way to watch my movies directly on a TV

    What cables do i need or can it even be done...

    if anyone can help please let me know, Regards

    you can use VGA or S-Video cables, depending on your tv
    (newer tv's will have VGA and S-Video, but older tv's will only have S-Video)

    S Video or VGA Cables, I'll give it a try.... does it matter what resolution you run on the laptop to get the best imagine on a normal big box glass tv .
