    Hello,

as title says, I want to try upgrading the display of my HP 820 G2.
I disassembled the display to see the precise model of my sample, and the screen is the following:

    B125XTN02.0 H/W:1A F/W:1 http://www.panelook.com/B125XTN02.0_AUO_12.5_LCM_overview_20803.html

    Here the detailed specs:

    Manufacturer: AUO
    Size: 12.5-inch WideScreen (10.2"x6.4")
    Resolution: WXGA (1366x768) HD
    Surface Type: Matte
    Backlight type: LED
Video signal connector: 30 pin 1lane eDP LED socket
    Mountings: Side Brackets

From what I've read on internet, it is not possible to upgrade tu a FullHd monitor, because a 2line eDP cable is required to manage resolution higher than HD. In this case thinks become more difficult, because I need to find the correct cable too (did someone do it ?).

So I'm looking for a HD IPS display that matches my current display specifications.
LG LP125WH2-SPT1 should be compatible, but even if on panelook it is reported as IPS, I find only TN version selling (maybe compatible).

Do you think this upgrade is possible ?
Can you help me to find the correct display ?
    Thanks in advance.

While Reading on the web, I found that for HP 820 G2 the cable is the same for HD and FHD monitors, while it is different the side of bottom part of the display (which goes behind the bezel) - so a different bezel is needed (aybe also different hinges).
    What is your experience ?

    Thanks for sharing your experience.
It seems very hard to find. Where did you buy it ?
    Thanks.

I have bought it at aliexpress.com, there are still some suppliers with stock, but notice it was 2 years ago, so maybe there are newer versions available. Anyway, I still can recommend mine after 2 years.
