    that was the low score , hard drive , a 320 gb 7200 rpm drive , CPU 6.3 - RAM 5.6 - Graphics 5.5 -Gaming graphics 4.7 .What kind of drives are they using to get high scores . and what CPU do you need to get a decent ratting ?
    X-9000 CPU 6 GB RAM and ATI 2600 GPU
    Iwould like to see what MS considers a dec ent laptop , obviously mine does not rate well

    I wouldn't worry about that score so much...

    And although it's a 7200rpm hard drive, it's still a laptop hard drive. Desktop drives are faster, and you would probably score top marks if you got a Velociraptor or a couple fast desktop hard drives in a RAID array.

    W7 's hdd rating is not right at the moment, don't worry about it. Mine is 3 too due to the hdd.

    You are most likely having a Seagate hard drive.
