I have a weird problem. Sometimes (not always), when my computer wakes up from sleep, the usb ports don't work. If I connect the mouse, the led does not even light up. If I then try to shut the computer down (or put in in sleep or hibernate), the computer screen goes black but it doesnt finish it. It is stuck somewhere, but (oddly) I can still for instance turn on and of the wireless network, so it doesn't freeze completely. The only souluton then is a hard shutdown (holding the power button for a while). I'm running Vista.

Does anyone have a similar problem or knows the solution? Is it a laptop or Vista issue?

    Thank you very much

A few other users are having similar issues, Service pack 1 will be your best bet for a fix
