The HP website lists this for the 8510p:

"ATI Mobility Radeon X2600 graphics with 256 MB dedicated video memory (512 MB HyperMemory)"

Does this mean they're using the X2600, or the X2600 XT, or they just don't know yet?

I would assume it to be a standard Mobility HD 2600. HP wouldn't make the mistake numerous times of not putting the "XT" on their webpage, where the card is mentioned.

:( So much for that idea.
It would have been nice if they did simply forget =P

Anyone know the exact differences between the run of the mill 2600 and XT version? According to AMD/ATI's website they look to be exactly the same, so I'm just assuming the XT has faster clock rates. ATITool or something of the sorts may negate the XT's advantage over the regular 2600.

The Mobility HD 2600 XT should just have faster clockspeeds than the original Mobility HD 2600. They have th same number of stream processors and have the same memory bus.
