    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how the LCD in this laptop (WSXGA+ 1680x1050) compares with competitors (like Trubrite and others) in terms of brightness, contrast, anti reflectiveness and overall quality

    Thanx

I think it's bright enough. Could be brighter but very usable. Contrast and viewing angles are fine IMO. Sides are much better than top/bottom of course.

As it's a matte screen I haven't had any reflections at all, it's great. I don't really have any other laptops around to compare it to atm but from memory I'd say it's probably not as good as those super-ultra Sony screens you see, or the T60p flexview, but it beats most everything else.
