I have been very satisfied with this purchase, however, after installing either vista service pack 1 or the nvidia drivers for my graphics card, the screen has significantly dimmed to the point where even max brightness is almost unusable. Before it was very bright, and this is a brand new display put in yesterday... so I know it's not a hardware flaw. What do you think is causing this, and how can I fix the problem short of restoring again and either foregoing SP1 or my videocard drivers?

Yep... 179.44 is installed... Let me try another version and see if it helps

Edit: Yep... darn drivers were limiting my screen brightness. Thanks a lot for the tip :)
