    Hey

Via MS windows update there is an update to Nvidia Quadro FX 770m graphics. I installed it, however the screen back light brightness got capped and would not go beyond 2 points (out of 5 points) and hence i had to revert back to original drivers.

Did anyone else attempt this and had any experience with it?

Yes I installed it too, they are the latest WHQL quadro drivers. They do indeed break the screen brightness so I guess it is a software bug. We'll just have to wait till hp releases the drivers in working condition for our laptop.

I can confirm this odd behavior, newest drivers are to be avoided. I just rolled back, since my performance didn't even go up with the new ones anyway, and I couldn't read anything clearly anymore
