So my current system has a FX 880 and I purchase the ATI M5800. Now the question I have is are the heat sinks different? Yes there is two different part numbers but visually look the same. Also compaired cards and screw holes and GPU appear to be in the same location. So why does the manual state a different heat sink is required? I have not got the part yet just to try it.

Well reused same heat sink so no issues. Maybe this will help someone in future.
