Hello, I just bought this mobile workstation and I want to know if it is possible to install winxp64bit on this system. With the system I got delivered winxp32bit, vista32bit and vista64bit, but no winxp64.

Now what about this, does this mean winxp64 won't install/work at all? Or that it will install/work but isnt suported by HP? Or is it just a way to shove vista64bit down our throats by only delivering a vista 64bit OS?

    Thanks!

Too bad I have to buy the OS... I cant upgrade my licence to 64 bit?

On the site it says it can have 4 gig ram, I looked around if I could install 8 giga, so I will be able to put in 8, perhaps 2 pieces of 4 gig I guess?

I've installed Xpx64 on mine, works just fine. But some software and drivers are not supported, like fingerprint reader, media card reader....
Also, make sure you integrate the SATA driver, otherwise it won't recognize the HDD and you won't be able to install the OS.

That scares me a bit of the art about unsuported hardware, is there a list or something making clear what is suported?
